Telecommunications Service Center, Inc. (TSC) began as ASK Solutions, a service oriented consulting and management company, aimed at helping Telecommunications service providers, businesses, and hospitality industry select and maintain the most cost efficient services in a changing industry.
Incorporated as a seperate entity in July 1991, TSC brings together a long history in telecommunications and adata management and welds together the activities and expertise of its major shareholders. providing service over a synchronous broad-band network in partnership with major national and international carriers, TSC's network is built on a fiber backbone with dedicated circuits connecting to our Florida based switching center. This network enables us to provide the highest quality local and international service available in the world.
Located in a major network center in Tampa our Siemens Stromberg-Carlson switches have access to great network diversity. This diversity protects our clients through the availability of alternative network facilities and routing in the event of a network outage. TSC also maintains more than 16 hours of emergency battery power and additional generator power should it be needed beyond this point. Both the IBM AS400 which is used for call capture and billing and the Siemens switches are fully redundant ensuring that even in the event of equipment failure service continues uninterrupted.
The diversity of services available through TSC has enabled us to tailor specific programs for other service providers and marketing groups working in specialized or niche markets. this has led to TSC developing and managing a number of highly successful programs for other groups and carriers. The very successful ARVC program utilizing AT&T; programs for several banking and credit card providers adding calling card facilities to their credit card offerings; and specialized voice mail and IVR marketing programs for several multilevel organizations have been developed and continue to run successfully.
TSC provides a full range of services including local service and national and international long distance to business, industry and residential users. TSC also offers wholesale local and international services to other carriers and service providers. As part of its wholesale services, TSC also provides excellent billing facilities for others in the telecommunications industry through either direct or LEC billing.
Linked to our Siemens switching platform are several adaptable user friendly facilities for the provision of such enhanced services as travel cards, rechargeable debit cards, international call-back and many interactive voice response applications. TSC also provides voice and fax mail and many associated services through a Centigram the high capacity Rolls Royce of the industry. TSC completes its switched service offering with automated and live operator services. These services are currently being provided to the public and private pay phone and hospitality industry. Also to other specialized markets such as cellular and satellite communications providers.
