Donating

We accept donations via the following methods:

1. Paypal (credit/debit cards or EFT/e-check) click the "Donate Now" button at the top of this page.
2. Postal Mail (check, money order) see address at the top of this page
3. Kintera (credit/debit)

Donations can be for any amount but must be a minimum of $1 if using Paypal or Kintera. Donors will have their name(s) posted on our "Donors" page, which is updated on the 1st and 15th of each month.

No child should ever be left out of the wonder of the holiday spirit due to lack of income or displacement of family.

About Our Clients:

Our clients are referred to us by local agencies, such as DHS, Hale O' Puna, East Hawaii Coalition for the Homeless, Turning Point for Families, Hale O'Hana, Pathways to Harmony as well as our own outreach at the local homeless beaches.

Many think of the homeless as a drunk who choose not to care about their lives any longer, but the reality is the average age of the homeless in Hawaii is 9 years old.

Despite the fact that most of these households are employed full time, statistics show that 1 of 6 children are still poor, and of those, 2 out of 3 are below poverty level. In addition 30% of homeless families fall into cases of neglect or abuse, and 50% of these homeless children have seen violence in their home before the tender age of 5.

By 2006 we hope to have our transitional housing project set up to further enhance our clients’ lives.
