DAY 1 --Monday -- DEPARTURE

• Meet at the Irondequoit Travel office for refreshments & transfer to the airport

DAY 2 --Tuesday -- Lake Como Region of Italy

• Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel Lario Hotel (see below) situated in front of Lake Como
• After a brief rest, the group will board a private boat to explore Bellagio & Lake Como
• Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant

A new hotel, with an amazing view on Como lake, 40 soundproof rooms with the best comforts, equipped with air conditioning, private facilities, hairdryer, telephone with direct external line, satellite TV, safe and minibar. Functional and charming rooms for receptions and wedding parties. Swimming-pool. Private parking place and garage free of charge. Only 5 minutes away from Villa Carlotta.

DAY 3 -- Wednesday - -- Lugano, Switzerland

• Breakfast in your hotel
• Visit the City of Lugano (passports required to enter Switzerland)
• Visit Mt. Tamaro - Food & Music on top of the mountain
• Enjoy a wonderful dinner at a local restaurant
• Free evening

DAY 4 -- Thursday - -- "Under the Tuscan's Sun"

• Following breakfast, your motor coach heads south to Verona to visit Romeo & Juliet's balcony. (Rapallo will be alternate visit)
• Stop in Pisa to view the famous leaning tower & the Square of Miracles.
• Check-in at your hotel in Montecatini Terme situated in the Tuscan Hills region.
• Enjoy a free afternoon in Montecatini Terme & later join Jim for dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 5 -- Friday - -- "FLORENCE"

• Following Breakfast, enjoy the included walking tour with a local guide featuring most of the city highlights. You will see;
  • Piazza Santa Croce
  • Piazza Signoria
  • The Palazzo Vecchio
  • Piazza Del Duomo & its Cathedral with the Giotto Campanile.
• Following your escorted tour, you will have free time to enjoy Florence at your own pace.
• The Peruzzi's Leather Shoppe, one of the finest leather stores in Florence, is known for its top quality leather products. Following a brief presentation, you will receive 10% discount coupon toward any purchase in the store.
• At Piazza Michelangelo, the group will pose for a group photo. Irondequoit Travel will provide you with a complimentary group photo.
• Enjoy your dinner at 'Il Falciani" restaurant, well known for its nightly entertainment & great Tuscan steak dinner.

DAY 6 -- Saturday - -- ROME

• Following breakfast, your tour heads south through the Tuscan/Lazio Region of Italy.
• This afternoon, you will check into your hotel.
• This evening enjoy Rome at leisure or take the optional tour "Rome by Night." The tour also stops at the following locations:
  • Trevi Fountains
  • Spanish Steps
• Enjoy dinner at a fine local restaurant.

Day 7 -- Sunday - -- ROME

• * Following breakfast at your hotel, join your local guide as you visit:
  • The Vatican
  • The Sistine Chapel
  • Coliseum
  • The Roman Forum
  • Piazza Venezia
• Enjoy Rome at leisure or take the "Roman Hills" optional tour.
• Venture south of Rome through picturesque hills and the village of Frascati where you will enjoy a fine dinner at II Pergolato restaurant. There, you will enjoy the Frascati wine & a great dinner with live entertainment. Visit the Pope's summer residence in Castel Gandolfo & enjoy a gelato in the square.
  

DAY 8 -- Monday - -- SORRENTO

• Following breakfast we continue south where you will be able to view Vesuvius, the awe-inspiring sights of one of Europe's greatest live volcano.
• We continue on to Sorrento where you will check into Hotel Michelangelo
• The tour will stop at MISS Bellevue, inlaid wood factory where you can buy hand made Italian top quality products.
• Enjoy your dinner at Zi'Ntonio Restaurant near the Square
• Enjoy a free evening or join the optional "Teatro Tasso" musical show.

DAY 9 -- Tuesday - -- SORRENTO -CAPRI

• Following an early breakfast, get ready to visit Capri. This legendary island is surrounded by rocky coastline, where the crashing sea has formed awe-inspiring caves. The town with its pretty piazza, maze of streets, fashionable boutiques, and smart restaurants is a mecca for the jet set.
• Optional excursions to the blue grotto are available.
• Following dinner at a local restaurant, enjoy Sorrento at leisure.

DAY 10 -- Wednesday - -- Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi

• Following breakfast, travel along the breathtakingly beautiful Amalfitan coastline.
• This spectacular drive takes you to Positano, for a brief lunch stop. Part of the motion picture "Under the Tuscan's Sun" was filmed in Positano.
• Continue on to Amalfi and enjoy a free afternoon. Return to Sorrento for a free evening.
• Tonight, join Jim for dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 11 & 12 -- Thursday & Friday, -- TAORMINA

• Enjoy daily breakfast at your hotel
• Our driver will take us through the mountainous scenery of the Basilicata & Calabria region of Italy and onto the ferry for a 45 minute crossing to Sicily.
• After you check into your hotel in Taormina, enjoy a free afternoon.
• Dinner included at night at local restaurants
• While in Taormina, enjoy your free time in town or at the side of your hotel pool or great waterfront of Taormina.

DAY 13 -- Saturday - -- SICILY

• Following breakfast, we head to Cefalu.
• Check into your hotel Costa Verde where you may enjoy 1 of the 3 pools, or take the hotel's trolley to the private beach of Costa Verde
• Visit the historical village of Cefalu at leisure before you join your tour guide for the "Farewell Dinner" at Villa Dei Melograni restaurant. This remarkable restaurant and its service will make you want to visit Sicily annually.

DAY 14 -- Sunday- -- RETURN

• Following breakfast, depart your hotel and head to Punta Raisi Airport in Palermo for your return flight to USA.

• A $ 250 deposit is required to hold your seat. Seats are limited.

• Written cancellations received prior to 45 days from the departure date will be issued a refund, except the $ 250 deposit.
